Brian Luenser  of Monee, Illinois, until he turned thirteen.  Brian then moved to the great state of Texas.  His hobbies, include collecting antique Fort Worth post cards and photography.

How long have you been in the photography business? 

"Not really in business. Not for hire.  But surely serious about photography. (Photographer of the year this year and last Fort Worth TX Magazine)   Serious in photography for 9 years." 

What brought you into photography?

"My love of old buildings and downtown Fort Worth."

Which photographers influenced you, and how did they influence your thinking, photographing, and career path?

"Nobody influenced me, that I am aware.  A very changing technology."

What type of photography do you do most? And what do you enjoy most and why?

"I shoot, skyscrapers, city scenes and city people."

What is the most challenging part about being a photographer for you?

"Approaching people to take their picture."

What technology/software/camera gear do you use to keep focused on what you do best, as you photograph?

"Canon, 5D mk II and III.  A bunch of Canon lenses. 8-14mm 4.0L, 17-40mm 4.0L, 24mm 1.4L, 50mm 1.2L, 24-105mm 4.0L IS, 70-200mm 2.8L IS, 400mm 5.6L and 800mm 5.6L IS."

What is your best business tip for photographers just starting a business?

"Start out doing everything for free until you have a big base.  Be nice."
