Album Review: Aaron Watson's Vaquero

Sunday, February 26, 2017

I have had the honor of reviewing the last two albums of Aaron Watson. In my experience with being around Aaron he is one of the most classiest guys in the scene. His love for his family and fans is very resident on his social media feeds and also when ever you see him on the stage.

In my personal opinion I think Underdog, Aaron's last album and Vaquero could be comprised as a double album with all of the common themes involved. They are both great albums but Vaquero was a big step up from the album Underdog. You see the growth of Aaron. The life he has lived and  experiences that he has gone through.

My favorite song from this album so far probably would have to be They Don't Make Em Like They Used To. It just speaks so much truth to me.  I've had a similar experience talking to my Nana driving down the road.

I love the way Aaron teaches love in every song he sings. He brings it to every album and every show he does! I know in the future he will continue to the same!
