Thankful for Every Moment

I get into the gold Dodge ram pickup truck and see my grandfather trying to fix something in the truck. I swear we set there for at least for five mins while he fixed it. We finally get on the road and get to the interstate. I hear a weird sound coming from the back of the truck.

He pulls over. On the interstate. One of the scariest thing of my life. I thought we were going to fall of the highest point of the interstate. I really thought we were going to fall.

So, he gets out and semi’s and all sorts of cars and trucks are passing by at 70 miles per hour. I keep picturing different things happening. Like a semi hitting the truck, falling and dying. I know I’m morbid. An hour later after Papa was trying to change a tower. I see lights behind us, a high patrol comes up behind and helps us.

I am so thankful for all law enforcement who helps us every day.
